Good for you! She’s a beauty (Shiba Inu?). I have to agree with the Captain though – all of my animals have been rescues and I know at least one was a puppy mill survivor – the thought of what she must have gone through makes me ill and so very angry.

Just found your site through Redneck Mommy and I’m so glad I did.

Personally, I think a better way of shutting the puppy mill would be by putting the owners down, but that’s just me.

Aww, Becky. Don’t worry about it. Auggie is a wonderful dog and you saved HIM! And you’re absolutely right, it’s not his fault. It’s those evil people who only care about making a buck. Give him a hug for me. But no kisses, I know where that mouth has been.

I hang my head in shame because Auggie came from a pet store. Against all better judgment on my own part, I know. It’s not his fault and it always makes me feel awful when I think about it.
